Unicane Industries Limited is a member of a long-standing group in Nigeria founded in 1953.The group is a leading ethanol producer in Africa and an industrial group of long experience and very good standing. The group is continuously expanding its activities which now count a wide range of agro-allied activities that include cassava to ethanol processing and refining. At present, itsfactory is located in Jamata, Kogi State.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Boiler Operator
Location: Jamata - Lokoja, Kogi
Job Description
- Operating and monitoring the boiler
- Taking hourly records of functioning boiler
- Checking the guages both pressure and temperatures
- Daily give boiler water samples to the quality control officers for analysis
- Filing the report sheet and storing the report on the system
- Monitoring of the feed water pump
- Monitoring of gas pressure guages
- Regulating the TDS in the boiler water by blowing down when necessary
- Ensure that all devices associated to the boiler are safe during operation and also ensure both manual and automatic work to its ultimum peak
- Ensuring proper operation and distribution of steam pressure from the boiler to the urbines and processes.
- Working shifts (day and night).
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with at least 4 years work experience.
