L&Z Integrated Farms Nigeria Limited incorporated in Nigeria on November 11, 2008, is located in Kano State, as an integrated dairy producer and processor that produce variant of Yoghurts, Fresh milk, Fura Da Nono, Greek Yoghurts, Satchet Yoghurt and Ice cream. L&Z has established a strong brand in the Nigerian dairy sector; standing out as an indigenous player with good quality dairy products and significant local presence across all six (6) geopolitical zones in Nigeria. The Farm owns a large herd of cows (a cross breed of Frisian and local cows – Sokoto Gudali), which produces an average yield of 7- 8 litres per cow/day in contrast to 0.69 litres per cow/day from the indigenous breed.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Inventory Officer
Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Overall Purpose of the Job
- Responsible for keeping accurate inventory records, including strict monitoring of raw - materials and finished goods using FIFO, LIFO and Weighted Average.
- Adequate and up-to-date records of all inventory items, and reporting the same accurately monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate warehouse transfers, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels and giving out the supplies from the stock.
- Prepares the inventories, maintaining the stock records, using computerized systems for entering the records and is accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders.
- Prepares the reports on adjustments done to inventories that may be damaged, spoilt, etc., and coordinates the purchasing, inventory and warehousing functions.
- Maintains record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any Business Management-related course.
- Professional Qualification - ACA, ACCA, CPA, ICAN is an added advantage.
- 2+years of post-qualification experience.
