• Design, develop and implement specific interventions, solutions or programs in support of the HR agenda for the organization.
• Manage the cost-effective and timely delivery of critical business change initiatives such as: organizational redesign, integration of change initiatives.
• Act as a key HR resource, identifying talent needs and working to develop and implement an effective talent acquisition strategy to improve recruiting and organizational performance.
• Optimize and redefine strategy, mindset and infrastructure to ensure continuous development and reskilling;
• Develop, implement and manage enterprise-wide employee retention programs and strategies that improve the overall employee experience
• Provide commercial and transactional expertise on workforce planning, resource forecasting and implementation of resource acquisition strategies that make Seplat an employer of choice
• Coordinate the annual talent appraisal process, including talent appraisal, succession planning and execution of the development plan
• Joint Venture Responsibilities – Effectively support and manage recruitment processes and procurement contracts, involving relevant stakeholders (NAPIMS, NPDC, recruitment agencies, etc.).
HR REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related degree
• Experience communicating with managers and employees and providing advice and expertise on HR areas such as processes, policies, labor laws, and compensation and benefits.
• Working knowledge of HR metrics and analytics
• A solid understanding of compensation and benefits administration
• Experience with talent management and learning concepts and strategies.
• Knowledge of HR trends and latest strategies
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Proven skills in diagnosis and investigation
• Knowledge of labor and employment law
• Membership of the CIPM
• Work experience in industrial relations or project management/continuous improvement is a strong asset
• Work with the organization through HRBPs to provide comprehensive workforce planning by balancing cost, value and risk
