Job Description
- Identify, plan and implement process improvement projects
- Plan and support the introduction of new products and processes, including new and alternative raw materials
- A resourceful team player, with an innovative and self-confident approach
- Process all necessary documentation for processes completed, actions taken, and analysis results
- Write and/or review SOPs
- Work with Ph.D
- Perform synthesis of standard Sirigen products using standard air-sensitive techniques along established technical SOP’s
- You will be self-motivated with strong problem solving skills and excellent attention to technical detail
- Outstanding communication skills applied across a wide range of internal customers and stakeholders
- Excellent statistical and analytical skills you will be IT literate, with experience using all Microsoft Office packages
Requirements
- First Degree in Industrial Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Biochemistry / Civil Engineering etc
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing plant
- Familiarity with operation of routine laboratory instruments and applicable software
- Works well in a team based environment and independently

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
- Allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating sales and operations staff, managing operational costs and ensuring good customer service.
- Preparing yearly sales operative plan
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Negotiating and closing agreements with large customers
- Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Increase market share of the product in the chemical construction industry (from 7% to 25%)
- Leading nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
- Working closely with the Executive Directors for long term strategic plan
- Preparing annual sales budget with the Directors
- Target management and achieving results through the team
- Implementing the product strategy as per the guidelines of the long term strategic plan of the company
Requirements
- Education background: Preferably in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry (other fields can be considered as well) + MBA (added advantage)
- Candidate must have good knowledge and experience in Business Management, Business Operations, Sales and Strategy
- Should have strong entrepreneurial skills
- 7 to 10 years’ relevant Sales expirience, FMCG experience will be considered as well.
- Candidate should have previous working experience in managing large geographically spread sales/operations team
