Recently, the Middle East and North Africa are awarding MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) offers to professionals from ten countries. The scholarships can be used for short courses, with duration up to three (3) months in the Netherlands.
Countries that are eligible for this program are Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, and Tunisia. It will be taken in the Netherlands.
The MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) enables experts from ten selected countries to participate in a short course in the Netherlands.
The main aim of the MSP is to contribute to the democratic transition in the participating countries. It equally aims at building capacity within organizations, by enabling employees to take part in short courses in various fields of study.
There are scholarships available for short courses with a duration of two (2) to twelve (12) weeks.
This scholarship can be use for a number of selected short courses in one of the following fields of study: Economics, Commerce, Management and Accounting, Agriculture and Environment, Mathematics, Natural sciences, and Computer sciences, Engineering, Law, Public Order and Safety, Social sciences, Public Administration, Humanities, Communication, and Arts.
The MSP targets group consists of professionals, from age 45 and above, who are nationals and work in one of the selected countries.
Scholarships are awarded to individuals or groups of persons, but the need for training must be demonstrated within the context of the organization for which the applicant works. The training must help the organization to develop its capacity.
The worth of the scholarship is as follows: subsistence allowance, international travel costs, visa costs, course fee, medical insurance, allowance for study materials.
All the allowances are considered to be sufficient to cover one person’s living expenses during the study period.
